Netherland ?? It has (almost) nothing to do with the country (The
Netherlands), it is about the language Dutch. As you can see in my mail
address I'm not from The Netherlands, but from Belgium, the Flemish part
where one speaks Dutch.
Belgium has three official languages: Dutch in the northern part
(Flanders), French in the southern part (Wallonia) and German spoken by
a minority in the east. In the capital (Brussels) one speaks both Dutch
and French.
So, as fr is not for France (one also speaks French in Quebec in Canada
for instance), nl is not for The Netherlands.
And in case you didn't know the language one speaks in The Netherlands,
you do know (Dutch) ;-)
