PHP5 is not in debian's packaging system.
~From now, i would prefer waiting for php5-5.0.1, as 5.0.0 fails a
regression test (php4 functions handling).

I am actually thinking of this bug: http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=29132
Apache authentication that was working in php4 does not work under 5.

At this state, php5 cannot be considered for php4 replacement, but a new
package. Thinking a little farther, lots of people will try php5 if it
is released in debian, and will perhaps get stuck on this bug (reading
the bug reports, people wasted lots of time).

This said, if someone has the time to release the package, don't forget
to patch this bug ;)
