I don't consider the tone in this message (or in the similar one for
bug 251983, where there is even disagreement whether the license is
really non free or not) as appropriate. As you might know, you catch
more flies with honey than with vinegar.

So, if you want to know the status of a bug, why don't you just ask
for it? What's the advantage of threathen, when you can just say:
"When do you plan to solve this bug? As we all want to bring sarge out
of the door rather soon, it is necessary to solve the RC-bugs now. If
you need help with a NMU, please don't hesitate to contact me, and to
set the tag help on this bug."

Furthermore, requests from non-maintainers for package-removals from
unstable are not really liked. The ftp-masters normally remove
packages only if the maintainer at least agrees on it.
