External access to account information on Alioth

Hello!

I'm one of the "developers" of l10n-russian project on Alioth. I'm
currently planning to write a couple of scripts, which could use some kind
of authentication. The access level should be practically the same as for
our project on Alioth. Is there any way to auth using Alioth, for example
to find out whether someone is an admin of the project or not?
