I'd like to file a bug report, but I don't even know which > package is causing the breakdown. Unpacking replacement libc6 ... dpkg: error processing /var/cache/apt/archives/libc6_2.3.2.ds1-11_i386.deb (--unpack): trying to overwrite `/etc/default/devpts', which is also in package initscripts Bugs are filed against initscripts and libc6, and IIRC are about a month old now. If there is a solution I'd love to know it -- I destroyed my pbuilder this morning as pcuitils broke it and thought that starting from scratch would be easier than manually fixing it.
