Hi Debian users and developers, I have just uploaded fam version 2.7.0-1 to experimental. I did this because of the following reasons (and those are also the reason why building this package took so long): - the build-system of fam was completely changed by upstream - therefore the DNotify patch wasn't as easy to integrate - the package build-system was completely redone, now using CDBS with simple-patchsys and tarball-build which should make the package a lot nicer and better to handle Please test these packages carefully, I appreciate any feedback[0]. If no serious issues turn up over the weekend (I am using this packages, of course) I am going to upload them to unstable with urgency=high because this version fixes one nasty bug[1] for Desktop users and one serious policy violation.
