We don't really have a mechanism for it keeping the current gid yet;
more of base-passwd's tables need to be exported so that adduser can get
at them.
dump could just treat it as a dynamic system group, of course, since it
doesn't need a static id; that would work fine.
Anybody know of other uses of the operator group in Debian?
