libapache-mod-ssl and /var/www-ssl

hi all,

my package libapache-mod-ssl started to provide directory /var/www-ssl and file index.html in it. this file is a copy of the one provided by apache package with somewhere written that the user is seeing a protected page. i made this way as asked in bug #211536.

some time after the upload i saw that apache-ssl uses /var/www as root of the web document tree and then i started puzzling about my choice. now i'm reading policy section 11.5 which seems to mandate the use of /var/www. also lintian complained about the odd position of the page, but i ignored it completely.

what i'm expected to do? to me any place is as good as others.

cheers
domenico
