(I thought I sent this, but now I cannot find it to be sure.) I'd like to build against sid on a machine (ia64) I don't own but which Debian does have available. I tried the recipe from the developer's manual using fakeroot. It failed because it could not find a package. Perhaps, this is a bug in debootstrap. Is that method supposed to work?
