I see nothing in common between what Anthony has given above and
the changelog that sparked this thread.

Let's get this straight, the changelog that started this thread is
not acceptable.

It is not acceptable because it does not document the changes that were
made by the Debian developper to the Debian package which caused the
bugs to be fixed.
