can not connect video device(/dev/video0)

Dear mandrake linux users:

  I had download and install most of my device driver of my webcam BTC usb webcam, but when I run xawtv or camoram or webcam, it response me error
can not connect to video device(/dev/video0) please check connection

please help on this, highly appreciate your effort and time
