Sounds good to me too, I've several "find -size 0" in debian/rules to
remove such kind of files.
Anyway I think it can be unlikely to remove empty files when they are
linked from others files. E.g. a .html having a link to another empty
.html. In such a case having the empty html file is better than having
no html at all to avoid future browser complains.
I no it is a bit weird situation but can't the heuristic "remove empty
files if they have no .html extension"?
