I'd like to see something like this happening.  I've already wanted a developer
accessible Hurd machine several times, for investigating the possibility
to port some of my packages.

I think such a machine would be valuable to increase the quality
of the Hurd port overall.  Most of my packages do never get built on hurd,
although that might actually be related to a lack of buildds?
