... and the tex section.  LilyPond e.g., being a music printing
package, is in Debian's section tex.  That's probably because latex is
the best supported backend, and printing music is not really `sound'
or `graphics' either.

Where would you start looking for a music printing/editing package
that has no graphics frontend: sound, graphics, editors, text, or
misc?
