The best option is to not package perodicals at all. Why not have an
installer package which downloads them automatically. Or even better: read
it online.
But if the ftpadmins are willing to take this stress, I dont mind. Hopefully
this is not the reason one has to wait so long for getting added to the
overwrites files.
