Agreed, not everyone has those things.

That may be true if you have limited computer and network
resources. With plenty of RAM and network bandwidth, I believe that
installers are a very poor choice compared to having issue packages in
Debian.

In deference to folks who don't have broadband access or plenty of RAM
in their systems, I'm withdrawing my ITP to package phrack. This
e-mail closes that ITP bug against wnpp.

That sounds a lot like a source-based, rather than binary-based,
distribution to me.
