Hi, I have setup root files to default to g+r, but there are config files that the user must read. Such as /etc/mozilla/* and /etc/X11/blackbox/*. I think the packages for these are mozilla-browser and menu. So the package setup should either: chmod a+r This assumes there are no passwords in the config file, not sure where mozilla puts its passwords. chown root.users Cheers Rob.
