Your packages seem good to me.  Apart from the issue previously discussed of 
encoding data from a BTTV card your packages have worked fine.

I don't think there's any good cause for anyone else to take over the 
maintenance of the packages, you've been doing it for a while unofficially 
while you couldn't officially distribute binaries.  Now that problem has been 
resolved I think you are a good candidate to be the official maintainer.
