Nice to see that some packages which were marked REMOVED have their bugs now fixed (even if in NMUs) On Fri, Nov 15, 2002 at 06:21:22PM +1000, Anthony Towns wrote: > (accursed In-Reply-To: checking...) > ========================================================================= > [Date: Mon, 11 Nov 2002 06:08:08 -0500] > > ldp-es | 20002103-6 | source, all > ldp-es-garl | 20002103-6 | all > ldp-es-glup | 20002103-6 | all > ldp-es-gulp | 20002103-6 | all > ldp-es-lipp | 20002103-6 | all > > ------------------- Reason ------------------- > purged by RM; see bug 139659 > ---------------------------------------------- However, mine wasn't :( I sent a new version of the package (targeted for contrib/ since the package needs non-free software to compile) which was sent november 5th. I received a "ldp-es_20021105-1_i386.changes is NEW" that same day. This package fixed both bug 139659 and some others, however, I cannot currently find it in 'incoming'. It seems that both the old package and any instances of uploads have been removed completely. Should I re-upload the package? I'm a little bit pissed off to see that this package was removed not due to the bug stated by the RM, but by a (unreported BTW) bug which made part of the packages non-DFSG. This (unreported) bug made the RM not accept uploads for the package fixing the bug. And when I finally sent a new package removing the non-free bits and fixing the bug I see it has been removed from the archive... oh well... shit happens. Regards Javi
