Yes. The background image could be dynamically generated to read something like "Debian welcomes Joe Luser", tiled, so a user can look at the desktop and immediately know who she is supposed to be. The remaining problem would be to have the users load their individual image at log in time, across all window managers and whatnot. Best, --Toni++
