pbuilder error
Hello,
While I haven't investigated for long yet (and the reason why this
happens will probably hit me first thing in the morning), but this error
has me puzzled:
-> Considering kerberos4kth-dev (>= 1.1-11-2)
-> Does not satisfy version, not trying
However, while that was running, I typed in a command in the chroot (and
yes, this was the only chroot, so I know I got the right one ;-) ):
scrooge:/# apt-cache policy kerberos4kth1
kerberos4kth1:
Installed: (none)
Candidate: 1.1-11-2.bam.1
Version Table:
1.1-11-2.bam.1 0
500 http://snoopy.apana.org.au woody/main Packages
1.1-8-2 0
500 http://snoopy.apana.org.au woody/non-US/main Packages
So can somebody tell me why kerberbos4kth 1.1-11-2.bam.1 (my private
version compiled for woody) does not satisify the build depends of >=
1.1-11-2?
According to dpkg it should be fine:
scrooge:/var/cache/pbuilder/build# dpkg --compare-versions 1.1-11-2.bam.1 ">=" 1.1-11-2 && echo OK
OK
So what is wrong here?
Is my logic tonight really that badly out-of-sync with reality, or is
something else that matter?
