So, last weekend Matt Zimmerman tried to organize a group of
Cambridge, MA developers to go celebrate the fact that May first fell
on July 19 this year.
There was some off list discussion and I decided as a result of that
discussion that we had enough people in the area that having a mailing
list would be useful. There have been at least two times that people
have been traveling to Boston and have failed to coordinate with
people here because of communications issues.
I believe that having a list for purposes including:
* Having developers traveling to the area be able to find people to sign keys
* Getting together from time to time
will be useful.
As such, I created email@example.com which you can
subscribe to through
http://www.meepzorp.org/mailman/listinfo/debian-boston-soc or by
sending mail to firstname.lastname@example.org.
If this is a bad idea either because such a list already exists
somewhere else or for some other reason, please let me know.
