timezone apache log file
Hello,
For some reason my apache log file is generating times in the wrong time
zone, -0400 instead of +1000:
203.12.237.100 - - [18/May/2002:03:58:29 -0400] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 403
And yes, the timezone is configured correctly on this computer:
snoopy:unstable:/home/bam# date --utc
Sat May 18 07:53:12 UTC 2002
snoopy:unstable:/home/bam# date
Sat May 18 17:52:20 EST 2002
Any ideas what would mess this up?
As far as I can tell, there is no option in the apache configs files for
this, it should use the system value.
On my laptop computer, the same thing works fine.
I am using the woody version of apache,
ii apache 1.3.24-3 Versatile, high-performance HTTP
server
I tried restarting apache just in case, but it is still doing the same
thing.
The problem seems to have started here:
216.35.116.28 - - [22/Mar/2002:11:27:19 +1100] "GET /pipermail/jokes/2000-August/000142.html HTTP/1.0" 304 -
203.12.237.110 - - [21/Mar/2002:19:42:20 -0500] "GET / HTTP/1.0" 200 2268
although since then it has changed to -0400 instead of +1000.
