If memory serves, Apple has consistently lost every time they've gone to court over the look-and-feel issues. I'm sure that wouldn't stop them from sending cease&desist letters, and/or threatening to sue; but if Debian is going to make a practice of rolling over every time someone with money could sue us, we might as well pack up and go home right now, since there are a lot more IP-fascist lawyers in this world than there are people to vet the archive checking for potential problems. Not to mention that adopting such a policy makes us a popular target for anyone who /does/ decide to threaten us with a lawsuit. Unless there is legal precedent showing that this package is a genuine violation of Apple's copyright, I believe it should be allowed into the archive. Steve Langasek postmodern programmer
