You know, I felt the same way recently, until I sat down one day and
just started scrolling through random sections in aptitude.  For all the
flak that we get about having too many packages, it must be said that
there's some pretty cool stuff in Debian that one might not know about
offhand.

For example, I discovered integrit this way, and I've installed it on
all my systems now.  There's plenty of other examples, too.
