Re: Init with user db in local LDAP (slapd): On service dependencies



In order to use LDAP for local Unix Accounts you'll need to set up quite
a few things (namely PAM and NSS), so moving the slapd init scripts to
a higher start priority probably is ok - it should only be documented.

BTW: I'm toying around with a different init system, namely
"simpleinit-msb" which is a very easy init system, but capable of
handling such dependencies, so the name is misleading; i believe it has
much more features than sysvinit, while being simpler to understand and
maintain.
