I reiterate again that it has not yet affected any debian release.
Mozilla is a key feature in Debian. Key Debian developers, Myth not the
least of them, will make sure that it is included in a sufficiently
stable form if this is at all possible. Branden took some time to
release X 4 packages into the world... do you think that if this sort of
thing were happening now with X that debian would ignore his efforts and
just freeze out new X? I am quite sure that Woody will not be released
with Mozilla M18 unless no other version of Mozilla can manage to be
stable on the platforms that Debian supports.

You're basing all your assumptions on the idea that (1) Nobody, neither
Myth nor anybody else of consequence, gives a shit whether a decent
version of Mozilla gets shipped with the next release, and (2) Myth, who
has very competently developed his packages, pays no attention to these
issues. You're needlessly insulting everyone's intelligence and
dedication. Nobody is getting paid enough to listen to it.
