I beg to differ. Several hours is probably not too
long. Perhaps even several days. Several weeks is pushing it.
In any case, I appreciate people telling me that new versions
are out. I may have missed the new version on my trawl through
upstream sites.
If one gets so easily bugged by user communication, one should
reconsider being a free software developer, perhaps ;-)
