We need support in dpkg and apt for translated Descriptions. But the hack 'translated Packages files' work and we have many description translated -> we should use this translation. The files are inofficial, but you can use it. We have some mirrors in germany and ddtp.debian.org. > I would like to change my mirror script to use the translated Packages > file and *work* with this stuff - just to detect more bugs in it. ok, make this > Is it ready for this purpose? [ftp|http]://ftp[2].de.debian.org/debian-ddtp de/woody main http://ddtp.debian.org/aptable de/woody main for german. We have also potato, stable, testing, sid and unstable, but no contrib and non-free. We have also rsync on ddtp.d.o, if you will mirror this stuff. (in debian-ddtp are only the Packages files, no deb's) Questions?
