Hi all, I used to run potato on my "server" (486) and I had problems with my modem. It turned out that all I needed to do is unmask the HD interrupts hdparm -u 1 /dev/hda but I have upgraded to woody and the new 2.4.x series of kernel it appears that that interrupts are not unmasked anymore as everytime there is disk access, I get lost bytes (serial interrupt not called). Anyone have any ideas of what is wrong?? - Adam
