I have solved this in intuively in a way which at least I like. It
symlinks the files it finds in /etc/intuitively/$PROFILE/ to the
corresponding files other places in the file system (being careful not
to overwrite normal files, just symlinks pointing to
/etc/intuitively/$OTHER_PROFILE.
