I'm working on a patch to support the Radeon M6 and M7 chips now.  It's
more involved than just adding the PCI id's to xf86PciInfo.h, fyi, since
LCD detection needs to be fixed as well (among other things).

For now, try the FBdev driver after doing an 'fbset -depth 16' (using the
radeonfb support in the kernel).  It should work for the most part (does
on powerpc at least), but the kernel support for radeonfb on M6 is still
developing, so don't expect everything to be perfect yet.
