It is my intention to hijack the usbview package, currently maintained by Raphael Bossek <bossekr@debian.org>. The package appears to be essentially unmaintained - the last maintainer upload was in January of 2000, with the last upload being a fairly trivial to perform bugfix NMU I made in January of this year. This kind of situation does not appear to be atypical for packages maintained by Raphael. Raphael, if you wish to maintain this package could you please speak up in the next couple of weeks or so? -- "You grabbed my hand and we fell into it, like a daydream - or a fever."
