since you ask on a Debian mailinglist, I'll blatantly assume you use
Debian. In that case, it's easy. For quake, you'll have to install one of
the packages "quake-3dfx", "quake-svga" or "quake-x11", whichever you
prefer. For Duke Nukem, you'll need dosemu (if it works).
If you're not using Debian, you're on the wrong mailinglist. In that case,
please get a clue.
