No, hpoj should not depend on CUPS or any other printer spooler. It's
more a lower-level driver for the printing and scanning functions of the
OfficeJet devices. At most it could suggest sane and a printer spooler
but IMHO that's already too much. Why install a printing system if you
only want to scan? (And vice versa.)
