Gerfried,

You're right and Ivan is wrong.  This package description sucks and if
the maintainer refuses to fix it, you should NMU it.

On a related note, as Joey Hess has pointed out, the package name is
ludicrously long, and should be abbreviated.  If that requires amending
the Perl Policy then so be it.
