I know that "proverb"(?) as "Give a man fire and he will be warm for a
day. Set a man on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his
life." (have it in my quotes file)

Don't know where I got that from, but it was surely not from Jingo
(even though I love everything by pterry, I haven't read it yet).

Don't know *when* I came across it, so can't say whether it was before
or after Jingo came out.

Bye, J

PS: Yes, pterry is great, and pretty original... but I don't think
he's above using a great quote when he sees one. ;-)
