I don't have thought about that point. But maybe some solution: - we can make a .mo file per release. This file is smaller as one package file - the package description don't change daily. Maybe we can put all description of stable, testing and unstable in one mo file with all description versions. IMHO this should doubled the size. This is all not to big. Only max 10 MB and you need not a update all the time. (If you put the translations in (some) packages files, you must download this with every 'apt-get update' and you have the same size.)
