What, the disconnect? This must be enabled explicitely using the special
register in the northbridge of KT133(A).

If you really want to include this in the kernel, please do. As said
before, our stable kernel does not use ACPI, and there are some reasons
for _not_ using the whole ACPI support even when if it is available.

AFAIK it does not. Only ACPI manager can change to STPGNT, and this
without the clock disconnect.

Exactly.
