I guess you just delete the message if in the headers there is both
your address and one of a mailing list you subscribe to? Somehow I
think that's a bit risky - just make a mistake specifying your mailing
lists and lots of your personal mail could be gone...

What's really needed is a script which compares the message bodies to
those of recently received messages. Has anyone written it? It's not
that easy - it needs to take some things into account, such as extra
"to unsubscribe,..." messages added by the mailing list software, and
received messages moving from your Inbox to some kind of archive. 
Ideally, it also shouldn't need reconfiguring for each new mailing
list that you subscribe to.
