The bug is that perl 5.6.0 broke debconf >> 0.4.x, << 0.5.x (??, I completly
forget the version numbers tonight). This has, of course, been fixed in
debconf for months and months, it still pops up occasionally when
someone upgrades an rusty woody or sid system.

The only possible fix is making perl 5.6.0 conflixt with the old broken
versions of debconf, I have mentioned this to its maintainer before and
he doesn't seem to want to do it. Since it only bites people who were
already running testing or unstable 3 monthsd ago, and does not affect
potato upgrades, I am losing no sleep over it.
