php library locations

Hi,

I'm currently packaging some php libraries, and i'm wondering where to place
them. The libraries are a database abstraction layer for PHP, called
'adodb'. The only other php library set i looked at is 'phplib' which
places itself in /usr/lib/phplib/.
'adodb' requires php version 4.
IMHO the 'pretty' solution would be, creating a /usr/lib/php4/, and a
/usr/lib/php3/, with the 'adodb' libraries in /usr/lib/php4/adodb/.
As phplib (afaik) works with both php3 and php4, it could be placed in
/usr/lib/php4/phplib/, with a symlink to /usr/lib/php3/phplib .
(or create a seperate /usr/lib/php for libraries that work for both php3 and
php4).

Am i thinking correct? should i file a bug against phplib, and make my
package use this scheme, instead of using /usr/lib/adodb/ ?

Greets,
	Robert
