You misread the thread (and the subject).
This is not about menu. This is about doc-base. In case you didn't know,
doc-base is there to provide documentation. AFAIK, there is currently no
documentation under a "Apps" directory in doc-base, so you don't need
migration.
OTOH, there is no clear definition of the sections that are provided for
doc-base, so everyone can put his/her documentation in a self-invented
section. This is not good for clarity...
