my original message was:

hi all,
        with /bin/sh linked to /bin/ash, if i do update-modules i see two
        segmentation fault, but if i link to /bin/bash everything goes
        fine.
        maybe would be good to make a check with modutils install?
        sorry, now i cannot investigate more.
        anyway, my packages are:

ii  ash            0.3.8-20       NetBSD /bin/sh
ii  modutils       2.4.6-3        Linux module utilities.
