well,
two problems, and i dunno if it's my fault or a bug.
a) i have linked /proc/mounts with /etc/mtab.
everything goes fine 'till some day ago, when after
update, /etc/init.d/checkroot.sh complain about
file system already mounted. i mean:
init 1
mount / -o ro,remount
e2fsck.ext2 /
it asks to confirm to goes on checking an already
mounted filesystem.
(I know, this is not a good bug report, but you can
easily repeat it just linking /proc/mount with /etc/mtab.)
Well, the real problem is it happens on every boot, when
/etc/init.d/checkroot.sh does e2fsck on /
It's common to find this link, bacause Linus suggests
to do it. So, do you think would be good to put a check?
b) i wrote about this some day ago, but no aswer, so i
dunno if i wrote a stupid thing, or if it was ignored
for other reasons.
anyway, linking /bin/sh with /bin/ash stop the boot
to work.
this is another common situation, specially on machine
with not too much memory. again, do you think it would
be good to put here a check?
ciao,
andrea
