The gnome-help-browser and konqueror have support for the info-format as well
as man-pages.
Just type 'info:gcc' or 'man:whatever' as URL.
Just found another thing: virtual(?) package info-browser. Just try to
apt-get insto-browser and apt will give you some choices.
