Username and group names.

Debian Developers:
 Could the users and groups be partitioned by the functions that
they perform:
Why have audio video voice games fax as unique users,
when the common function set is Multimedia?
Is there a reason to have audio and video separately?
It seems that grouping might reduce the number of unique users.

Just wondering?
