Hi !
Weeks ago, I've switched from Mandrake/RH Linux to Debian, and I find the
project so exciting that I'd like to help and contribute to its success.
I'd like to maintain two orphaned packages, kbackup and swish-e, and also
tkusr, an X11 tool to manage the self mode of USR/3com messages modems.
My skills:
* Working for 4 years in a company providing services based on free software.
In particular, I've made a free software distribution (patching, compiling,
packaging, ...) made up of about 100 packages (GNU utilities, gimp, kde)
for commercial Unices: Solaris 2.x,Irix 6.2, 6.5, HPUX 10.20 and 11.00.
* RPM expert, but now that I've discovered the power of the DEB packing
system, we will switch to it !
* Webmaster of http://www.palmopensource.com , the PalmOS Open Source Portal
and also working on the PHP software (mythreads) used to make this site.
* Programming Languages: Tcl/Tk expert, C, C++, Python, Perl, PHP, Scheme...
* Programming under: Linux, PalmOS, Un*x.
