Have you looked at DeMuDi (http://gige.xdv.org/pages/DeMuDi)? It's based
on Debian, but includes a kernel patched/optimized for MM work, and
packages of the appropriate software. Hmm, pages have changed recently
(in the last few days), and info seems to be decreased. Or perhaps
most of it has been put on www.demudi.org, which seems to be refusing
connections at this particular moment in time. Oh, and there's the
