Bug#102054: ITP -- ccmath: Computational C mathemathics library

Package: wnpp
Severity: wishlist

License: LGPL
Upstream Author: Dan Atkinson <DanAtk@aol.com>
URL: http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/Linux/libs/ccmath-2.2.0.tar.gz

The ccmath library is a collection of functions, coded in the
C-language, that perform computations frequently encountered in
scientific, mathematical, and statistical applications. Library
functions are designed to exploit the efficiency and portability of
C. Applications covered include Linear Algebra, Numerical Integration,
Geometry and Trigonometry, Curve Fitting, Roots and Optimization,
Fourier Analysis, Simulation Support, Statistical Functions, Special
Functions, Sorts and Searches, Time Series Modeling, Complex
Arithmetic, and High Precision Arithmetic.

It is a mature library and in some areas I think it is currently more
developed than the GNU Scientific Library.

I plan to make 3 packages:
libccmath2
libccmath-dev
ccmath-examples
